WELCOME BACK……
I’m very happy while writting this post as I’ve got a chance to tell this world about our beloved mess ( VIJAYAN.., What happened to you..? R U insane…? ).. It gives me immense pleasure to say a few words about this interesting place ..
I’m a member of the Sr. Veg Mess of CEG since my second year .. At those times our mess was atleast 500 mts away from the hostel and B4 you reach hostel , after finishing your food, entire intake would have been digested in that long walk…
Thank God our rooms were shifted to another block which is very near to mess.We dont have that prolem now… But our class rooms are 1 Km away from our block.. Thats another sad story 
Ah, coming back to the mess, it is typical mess which you could guess about… A long dining hall splitted into two with tables and chairs arranged in order … Ok no more boring description about the looks..
Whatever be your mobile model, but itz the SIM card which matters much.. Similarly, however may be our mess’ looks it is the food that is served there which matters much…
We’ve got a committe to decide about the menu consisting of a Mess Representative ( Once again a VERYYYY powerful post ) who does the most tough job of serving the Fruits and sweets once in a while to members 
I dont want to tell much about the food as you people will start feeling for missing such nice foods.. But I cant avoid telling about the food served for dinner in Sundays.. They have kept the name as Veg Briyani .. But every Sunday it takes different faces like Tomato Rice or Puliyotharai and even some times it becomes Non-Veg Briyani by adding some Lizards and Insects to the food.. Hardly once in a month you can find that it is Veg Briyani…
In kotturpuram so many night hotels have mushroomed to serve the needs of these dejected students..( I think there is some BELOW-THE-TABLE connection between our Mess and these Hotels )
But the dedication shown by the mess workers in catching the Defaulters of mess should be very much appreciated.. They will keep our photo id card on the table and start looking everyone suspiciously and cross checking with the Id cards.. ( We call it as BLACK LIST )
I hope all these I’ve mentioned above are very common in all our messes. ( Jr Veg, Jr NV, Sr NV and Ladies as well ) Later I learnt from my friends that the condition of Non-Veg mess is more pathetic than ours…
I dont know how to finish this post.. So I better put a Full Stop here….

I’ve recently heard that our mess was awarded with BEST MESS AWARD FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS CONSECUTIVELY…. Enna koduma Sir edhu…?
